Our Story...
"Not Your Typical First Lady" was founded on the belief that every woman deserves to be empowered and walk in their own strength believing that God has equipped them with everything they need to succeed in life. We are dedicated to supporting and uplifting women in ministry while providing crucial services that includes food, transportation and temporary housing vouchers to the homeless communities in San Joaquin and the surrounding Northern California counties with the ultimate goal of getting the unhoused community into permanent housing.
Via referrals to 'A Walton Tax Services', our organization offers free tax services to qualified recipients. Other services such as administrative coverage for individuals, , small businesses and local government entities; assist with filing paperwork with the state and federal government to legalize new Entrepreneurs are available for a fee.
We offer free support that include one-on-one and group talk sessions for women in ministry.

Real Transformation Is What We Do
Volunteer Hours
Many years before the inception of NYTFL, our Director dedicated many hours volunteering into several churches with the latest being Kingdom Glory Church. In the church environment, she provides administrative and accounting services along with spiritual and
moral support to the women's ministry.
After her 4 plus decades in local government, she is focusing her attention on the unhoused community, aiding them in acquiring food, transportation and temporary shelter. With that, she plans to expand offering a
shower house, a food pantry and a slightly used clothing store
She offers professional administrative, general accounting and personal and business tax advice and preparation services in her personal business,
'A Walton Tax Services' and with the IRS to the community. Assistance is available to help individuals properly set up their own businesses.
Her hard work and dedication are what make our organization possible.
People Served
Since 2023, we have been successful with providing service to several women and men in need of shelter, food, gas, transportation and assistance with paying a bill. We aim to provide vouchers/gift cards in small increments to temporarily provide these services to our homeless recipients.
For purposes of supporting our
Adopt-A-Family Program for Thanksgiving and Christmas, we host food drives, "One Warm Coat' and other activities to provide vital support
to needy families during
the holiday season.
Events Held
We sponsored an event in Las Vegas called "In the Sexy Zone" with keynote speaker, Pamela R. Garrison to support and empower women in ministry. From talk sessions, self-esteem building, redefining yourself to community outreach, our event was designed to create real transformation in the
lives of so many.
